1. Who these terms cover

These terms apply to all quotes, agreements and services of GRØNN Studio (KVK 42072154), established at Kelderstraat 32, 6171 GB Stein, Nederland.

2. Quotes and agreements

Quotes are without obligation and valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. An agreement is formed when you accept a quote in writing (email suffices). Designs, plans and advice remain the intellectual property of the studio until agreed otherwise.

Prices published on this website are inclusive of VAT and apply to the scope described on the service page concerned — both what is included and what is explicitly not. They apply within our stated service area; outside it, travel is agreed in advance. Work that turns out to fall outside the described scope is discussed and quoted before it is carried out, never invoiced afterwards as a surprise.

Some work cannot honestly be priced unseen. Where a service page says so — a pond that has been left for years is the clearest case — we look first and quote afterwards. A published figure is then a starting point, not a commitment.

Offset rules are stated on the service page and honoured as written: half the design fee comes off the first implementation invoice when we carry out the work, and a paid survey is offset in full against any subsequent job over €750. Offsetting applies once, to the first invoice, and is not paid out in cash.

3. Execution and living materials

Gardens are living systems: growth, establishment and ecological development depend on soil, weather and care. Descriptions of expected development are indications based on professional judgement, not guaranteed results. Agreed maintenance or aftercare is described per project.

4. Payment

Invoices are payable within 14 days to the account stated on the invoice, in the name of GRØNN Studio, unless agreed otherwise. For projects, phased invoicing (deposit, progress, completion) may be agreed in the quote.

5. Cancellation and changes

Changes to an agreed design or scope are settled on the basis of additional or reduced work. If you cancel after work has started, work performed and commitments already made (such as ordered plants or materials) are charged.

Stewardship is contracted per year and invoiced monthly. It runs for twelve months and renews unless cancelled with one month's notice before the end of the term. The monthly amount is indexed once a year, on 1 January, to the CBS price index. Priority on a fault means priority in the schedule — a repair is quoted separately.

Seasonal visits depend on the weather and on the season itself: a leaf net has a window, and frozen ground cannot be dug. Where conditions make a planned visit pointless or harmful, it is moved in consultation rather than carried out for the sake of the calendar.

6. Liability and complaints

Liability is limited to the amount invoiced for the assignment concerned, except in cases of intent or gross negligence. Complaints: report them within 14 days of discovery via the contact details below; we will respond within 14 days and seek a solution together.
