Pond Survey

A paid diagnostic visit for a pond that is green, leaking, smelling or empty of life. Measured, not guessed, and written up.

What you get

  • Full water panel — pH, KH, GH, nitrite, nitrate, ammonium, phosphate
  • Silt depth measured in three places
  • Sun hours and planting cover
  • Pump capacity against pond volume
  • Surroundings — trees, lawn feed, run-off from paving
  • A written report: what I saw, the pattern, why it happens, what to do
  • Three routes costed — do it yourself, partly, or fully

What you do not get

  • Test strips. Too imprecise to base a plan on, and they look like guesswork at your pondside. We use drop tests.
  • A bottle of algae treatment. Algae is not the illness — it is the symptom of too much feeding.
